Dr. Kevin Slivka is an educator, researcher, and artist. Much of his research focuses on working with Indigenous artists, the curatorial practices of museum spaces that impact relational engagements with Indigenous arts, as well as contemporary and historical educational contexts and practices related to the arts. Slivka is currently the Director of the Art Education program at the State University of New York at New Paltz. You can find his CV here.
Sylvie Alusitz is pursuing her Master of Fine Arts at the State University of New York at New Paltz in Metal. She is the graduate assistant for the Art Education program, 2017-2019, and has been integral in launching this online resource through the accumulation of information on institutions collecting and exhibiting Indigenous art.
